Srinagar, July 26: Ellaquai Dehati Bank organized a mega MSME loan Mela at Dak Bunglow Islamabad (Anantnag).
Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, DDC who was the chief guest inaugurated the Mela in presence of A K Razdan chairman of the Bank.
The mela and was attended by hundreds of people besides the field staff of the Bank.
Razdan on the occasion said that the Bank is doing yeoman's services to the common masses of the district in strengthening their financial position. He said the bank is providing small commercial transport vehicles to the unemployed youth at a reasonable margin and rate of interest to eradicate the unemployment.
DDC Islamabad (Anantnag) appreciated the role of EDB in boosting the economic activities of the people of the district and specially mentioned the role of the bank in providing agriculture credit to the farmers.
