Karnataka Bank campaign for home, car loans - Hindu Business Line Oct 7th 2013, 08:44 Mangalore, Oct 7:   Karnataka Bank Ltd has launched a special campaign for home and car loans. The campaign, which was launched on Monday, focuses on offering home loans up to Rs 75 lakh at the base rate of the bank. The base rate of Karnataka Bank is 10.75 per cent. Car loans are sanctioned up to 85 per cent of the on-road price of new vehicle with repayment period up to seven years. Launching the campaign in Mangalore, P. Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director of the bank, said the special festive season offer would help fulfil the dreams of the customers to own a house or car of their choice. "The bank has put in place a system of speedy sanction by adhering to turnaround time of two working days for car loans and seven working days for housing loan," he said.
